Abenaqui Country Club Wedding

The Abenaqui Country Club Wedding ceremonies overlook some of the best fairways in Rye Beach, NH. Abi and Ryan lived in Boston while planning their New Hampshire seacoast wedding. Wedding planner Kate Malloy of Malloy Events designed this preppy and slightly nautical Abenaqui Country Club Wedding. Abenaquie Country Club History

The club was formed in Rye Beach, New Hampshire, 1897 and opened its doors in 1903 as a private golf club. Arthur Harris Fenn designed their golf course over the decades, and it has been redesigned several times. Arthur was inspired by the thick forest surrounding the golf course, and being next to the sea, golfers can feel the breeze from the ocean. Currently, the course has 18 holes and spans over 100 acres. The Abenaquie is proud to remain the only private country club in New Hampshire. If you are interested in having your wedding ceremony and reception at the Abenaquie, you don’t need to be a member; however, you will need to have a member sponsor you.

Ballroom Wedding Reception

The Abenaqui Country Club offers an indoor ballroom for couples who would like to have a winter wedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows give the room a natural light feel, and guests can enjoy the well-maintained golf course views. The ballroom can accommodate 200 guests for a plated dinner.

Tent Wedding Reception

The outdoor patio can be converted into a tented reception venue. A large Sperry tent can comfortably fit over 180 of your wedding guests.
