Boston & Davidson & Co, the studio of Mark Davidson Photography LLC, is the documentary wedding photography and film studio of Mark Davidson, who has photographed weddings for twenty years and holds a BFA in commercial photography from Brooks Institute. The studio is based in both Sarasota, Florida and Boston, Massachusetts, covering weddings throughout Florida and New England. Mark leads a small, hand-picked group of Team Lead photographers and videographers he has worked beside for years, each of them a documentary specialist in both photo and film.

Wedding films are shot the same documentary way as the photographs, and the film runs alongside the photography in both Boston and Sarasota — when a day needs a dedicated crew, one of our Team Lead videographers leads the film, from one team. A wedding album is the printed version of your gallery, sequenced as a story rather than a highlight reel, designed from the photographs you choose and made to be picked up rather than scrolled. Wedding photo archiving is the part nobody thinks about until it’s too late: Davidson & Co keeps your finished wedding photographs backed up and retrievable, so when the laptop dies and the gallery link is long expired, the pictures are still somewhere real. For 20 years, I’ve been a documentary wedding photographer, which focuses on taking candid photos, and letting your day unfold naturally. I’ve learned that the best stories emerge when you’re not thinking about the camera, which is why my approach is simple: keep things stress-free, and stay in the background.
I hold two World Titles from the Wedding Photojournalist Association, most recently in 2026, and my work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides. I love a good story and a packed dance floor, and over two decades, I’ve figured out they go hand-in-hand when the focus stays on what matters.
I split my time between Sarasota, Florida, and Boston, Massachusetts, and work alongside an incredible team of Team Lead photographers and videographers.
