Fairmont Copley Plaza Wedding Boston
The luxury Fairmont Copley Plaza is the oldest hotel in Boston. It first opened up in 1912 with a it's grand opening gala. It is located across the street from the Boston public library. In 2012 the hotel updated the hotel with a budget of 20 million dollars. The grand ballroom ideal for a romantic city wedding. In this room the ceilings are 30 feet high with a balcony located on the east side of the room. The impressive looking room has crystal chandeliers, and marble columns. The large room is designed to hold over 300 guest comfortable.
The photo gallery below is from the Grand ballroom wedding with a vintage 1920's theme. The head table had a gold runner down the center of the table. Table numbers were gold plated as well as the flower vases. The table centerpieces were white roses and hydrangeas decorated in feathers and stringed pearls. Next to the dance floor the couple created a lounge by bringing in white leather couches for the guest to relax on.
